Head Coach Suzanne Davis

Suzanne Davis currently coaches Volleyball for Tuscola High School and Jr. High.  She has served as head volleyball coach for TCHS since 2009 and was also head coach in 2005 and assistant in 2003 and 2004.  She recently took on the 7th grade coaching position for the 2011 season.  Coaching highlights for this academic year include taking her Varsity team to the Regional Championship match and winning the 7th grade conference championship title. 

Prior to coaching, Davis was a committed volleyball player.  She played four years as an outside hitter at Greenville College, which maintains a successful Division 3 Volleyball program.  Davis was voted captain and MVP for her college team her senior year.  Prior to her college career, Davis played for Casey-Westfield High School/Junior High, another successful volleyball program.  She also participated in club volleyball all four years of High School, traveling to tournaments in both Illinois and Indiana.

Most of all, Davis views coaching and her love for the sport as an opportunity to reach out to students during an often difficult time of their lives and crucial stage of their development.  She sees volleyball as an outlet to accomplish deeper goals of mentoring and helping develop well rounded young ladies.
